A Dhaka to Chattogram move is not a bigger city move — it is a different kind of job. Here is how we plan them.
How the moving day runs
Large trucks (18 ft covered, 18 ft open or 23 ft covered) cannot enter the city in the daytime, so the move follows the night window:
- The truck is brought near your home the night before.
- On moving day our team packs from the morning and brings your goods down to the ground floor step by step.
- Loading starts after evening, and the truck leaves at around 9–10 PM.
- If the truck reaches Chattogram before 6–7 AM, we unload that morning. Otherwise it waits for the daytime restriction to end and we unload at around 8–9 PM.
Pack for the highway
Long roads mean vibration for many hours. We recommend premium packing for electronics, glass-top tables and crockery, so everything is ready on the ground floor when loading starts.
Two teams, not one tired team
For long moves we keep a separate team at the delivery end. Fresh hands carry your furniture up the stairs after the journey — that is when most damage happens with a single tired crew.
