Every move is different, so a fair price depends on what you are moving and how hard it is to move. These are the five things that decide your cost.
1. How much you are moving
The number of beds, almirahs, sofas, fridges and cartons decides the truck size: 7 feet for small moves, 12 feet for most family flats, 16–17 feet for large homes. Some moves need two trucks or two rounds.
2. Floors, lift and stairs
Carrying a 3-part almirah down six floors without a lift takes more people and more time than using a lift. We always ask about floors and lifts at both addresses so the labour is planned, not guessed.
3. Road access
If the truck cannot reach the gate — common in Old Dhaka and narrow lanes — the team carries everything to the truck. We plan for this in the quotation instead of charging on the day.
4. Packing
You can choose basic, standard or premium packing. Premium packing protects furniture and electronics with bubble wrap, poly and cartons, and is worth it for long distances or high floors.
5. Technical work
AC open and refit, almirah dismantling, geyser, water filter and washing machine work are priced separately, so you only pay for what you need.
