House shifting in Gulshan, Banani, Uttara and Bashundhara: what's different

Moving inside Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, Uttara or Bashundhara R/A is not like moving in older parts of Dhaka. The buildings are taller, the rules are stricter and the furniture is often larger. A little planning avoids a long day.

Lift booking and moving hours

Most apartment buildings in these areas let residents use the lift for moving only at set times, and some ask for a written request or a deposit. Ask your building management at both addresses at least a few days before the move and share the times with your mover.

Protecting lifts and lobbies

Building managers often check that lift walls and floors are covered. Our team brings covers and blankets so the building stays clean and your deposit stays safe.

Parking and loading point

Find out where the truck can stand and for how long. In busy roads near Gulshan Avenue, Kemal Ataturk Avenue or Uttara sectors, the team may need to load quickly from a service lane. Knowing this in advance decides how many people we send.

Large furniture and glass

Modern flats often have big sofas, beds, dining tables with glass tops and large TVs. Some pieces only fit the lift after dismantling. Our survey notes these items, and the team brings the tools to dismantle and rebuild them.

Moving in Bashundhara and Uttara

Bashundhara R/A and Uttara are large, so travel time between blocks or sectors matters. Starting early in the morning keeps the whole move inside the building's allowed hours.

Plan it in one visit

A free survey visit covers all of this — lift, parking, large items and timing — and you get a fixed quotation. See our Dhaka office page for the areas we cover, or call 09697-333030.
